Roane Beard's Home Page

Roane Beard is a Los Angeles based freelance writer and editor. A travel and entertainment specialist, he has worked in Taiwan, New York, and his home state of Florida. He was the founder and managing editor of Rickshaw, a popular expatriate entertainment magazine covering Southern Taiwan, and the author of LIFEsteps, a business English textbook for non-native speakers of English. He has written for numerous print and web publications in the United States and abroad. He has a B.A. in English Literature from Florida State University.
